Last week I experimented with the mint we're growing in the garden, to see if I could make my own mint tea. Turns out it's easy, tasty, and very refreshing on ice.
Recipe For Hot Mint Tea:
Grab a couple of mint leaves (3-4), wash them, throw them in a mug, and add boiling water. Let it steep a few minutes et voila! Fresh mint tea.
Recipe for Iced Mint Tea:
Same as above, but you need to cool the tea (obviously!). I make a jug of it, by grabbing a handful of the leaves, and steeping them in about two inches of hot water, then adding cold water and ice after.
The mint tea can be sweetened with honey, but it's better without. Also, mint is good for digestion and settling stomachs. I've heard too, that if you drink a lot of mint tea your sweat is less stinky. True? Not sure, but if you try it, let me know!

I love mint tea. The taste and flavor of the mint tea is really different from all the other teas. This tea is really beneficial to the health and prevents us from the common cold.
